I know there are a good many of our Politz Clerk group and I think some of the Politz family in the Houston area and that Ike's cutting a path about the size of Katrina and Rita all rolled into one as well as giving some of Louisiana a double shot behind Gustav. If you are in Ike's path, or if you have word of any of the group or their families in Ike's path or recovering from Gustav, please let us know who is where, who's safe, and who may be in need of assistance.

I have an aunt with Alzheimers in Louisiana who is expected to pass in the next few hours and I will be taking my mother to the funeral. I may be staying with my sister who I'm not sure has power back yet or with other relatives whose phone and Internet access is not yet reestablished after Gustav. So please post directly so everyone knows you are safe.
Also, is anyone aware yet of the sort of volunteer attorney hot lines that were established after Katrina for Gustav and Ike? I haven't heard of anything like that this year.
